Label materials delivered your way

Your success depends on more than great products. It depends on a supplier who listens, responds, and makes it easy to get what you need and when you need it. UPM offers a range of label material delivery formats designed around how you actually work: full master rolls for high-volume lines, custom-width trimless options, small rolls for trials and short runs, fast-delivery cut-size formats, and non-adhesive materials for narrow web. All label material delivery formats are delivered straight from stock or made to your specification, backed by people who know the industry and want to see your business grow.

Choose the format that fits your process

Each service format is designed for a different order profile. Use the descriptions below to identify the right fit or talk to your local UPM contact if you need guidance. From coat to order label materials to custom width label rolls, our label material delivery formats match your workflow.

Standard service

Full master rolls for consistent, high-volume runs.

Products are stocked and supplied at full trim. The full width of the master roll is used; any material outside the slitting pattern is charged as trim waste.

This is the right format if you run high volumes of the same label material and prefer to hold roll stock in inventory. It supports efficient shipping and delivery, and works well for operations serving large brands or customers with predictable, repeating demand.

Available in: EMEIA, Americas, APAC

Coat-to-order

Made to your specification.

When the product you need isn't held in standard stock, coat-to-order lets you specify the construction you need. The full master width is used, and minimum order lengths apply depending on the product.

This is the right choice when your application requires a specific construction or when your volume justifies a dedicated production run. Our coat to order label materials ensure you get precise components and finishes aligned to performance requirements.

Also known as Ex-Coater (EMEIA) or Coater (APAC).

Mega / Trimless

Your width, pre-defined lengths, no trim waste charge.

Order any width with pre-defined roll lengths and core sizes, straight from stock. You pay only for the material you use.

This format lets you receive custom width label rolls slit and packaged for a specific run, without committing to full master widths or holding large in-house inventory. It gives you the flexibility to respond to different job sizes while keeping stock levels lean.

For jobs where splice-free rolls matter, such as high-speed lines where a joint would cause a stoppage, MegaPro (EMEIA) and the splice-free trimless offering (Americas) provide the same custom-width flexibility with no joints in the roll.

Available in:

Mega (EMEIA) / Trimless (Americas) / Net Width (APAC): any width, pre-defined lengths and cores
MegaPro (EMEIA) / Splice-free trimless (Americas): any width, pre-defined lengths and cores, splice-free

Small roll service

Access premium label materials without large volume commitments.

Not every job requires a full master roll. The small roll service (EMEIA) lets you order from stock in shorter lengths, with pre-defined roll widths, low minimum order quantities, and fast delivery.

It gives you access to high-performance label materials – including security and brand protection labels, pharmaceutical-grade materials, durable labels, and premium wine and spirits stocks – without the order quantities typically associated with these products. Choose small batches or custom width label rolls to match exact press needs.

Use it to:

Test specialized materials before committing to full volumes
Trial high-performance stocks with large turnover potential
Serve campaigns or seasonal demand with exact quantities
Reduce warehouse space and wasted stock
Lower business risk when entering new market areas
Improve your negotiation position on smaller jobs and contracts

FastWeb

Non-adhesive label materials for narrow web, straight from stock

FastWeb (EMEIA) provides quick deliveries of non-adhesive label materials, available in small roll widths for narrow web machines. Products are dispatched straight from stock with low minimum order quantities.

FastWeb products run on the same machinery used for converting self-adhesive materials, so you don't need separate equipment to add them to your offering. This makes it practical to market a wider range of products to your customers using your existing production setup.
